About This Game

Tanks VR is a multiplayer VR tank simulator set in the events of World War II. Immerse yourself in engaging battles with other players and see them react to your maneuvers. The intuitive controls allow you to operate a tank on your own. Pick a tank from your garage and use it to fight for the axis or allies in battles with up to 10 players. Tanks VR currently has the following features.

Battles with up to 10 players:

Fight in large battles with other players.

Solo tanks:

Intuitive controls allow one person to control the M5 Stuart or Panzer 38.

In-game voice chat:

Communicate with your team or taunt your enemy.

Physical lobbies:

Discuss battle tactics with your team in an underground bunker before a match starts.

Realistic damage model:

Each tank has strong and weak spots, use them to win from your enemy.

Historical maps:

Fight in close quarters or long distance on two urban maps.

  So for starters, This isnt like war thunder.
  This as a VR experience in this stage is amazing.
  And the dev is actually active with you and listen to you and writes down suggestions for maps, gamemodes and adjustments for tanks etc.
  
  Pros - Not laggy like most "indie" vr games
  - working with both the vive, Oculus and the windows mixed reality headset
  - Great driving mechanics for the tanks
  - Great selection of WW2 era music
  
  Cons - The punishment corner (look at devlog.2)
  - No ingame voice com (being worked on though)
  . Super interactive and fun, just wish there were more people to play with... so please buy this game. Tanks VR, an interesting idea and topic, with really good execution. At ~3 hours in, I have gotten a good idea on the game's easy to learn but hard to master mechanics, and am thoroughly enjoying the experience I've had. The player base is currently small, but even at 1v1 the game is a blast. I have personally talked to the devs, and they seem to be extremely dedicated to the game and very respectful to the players. Huge potential, and for only $11.49 CAD? Yeah, definetly. I suggest you pick the game up and give it a try, as I believe most who enjoyed VTOL VR, or other games like that, would have a lot of fun with this too.. Great simulation. You hear the tracks of the vehicle, movement is realistic for the way tanks were driven in WWII. I've only played one against one but i can imagine what fun it would be to do 5 v 5. Highly recommend this game.. In this review is what I experianced with the game regardless if its early access or not. Everybody will experiance things differently. Now onto the review.
  
  Tanks VR is a an online game where you get to drive WW tanks using zero turn steering. The game is desgined to have 5v5 match.
  
  To move the tank forward & backwards you move the left & right levers forward to go forward & backwards to go backwards.
  
  To turn left or right you move the left lever left & the tank will turn left. To turn the tank right you move the right lever forward & the tank will turn right.
  
  You have a lever that controls the cannon height elevation & a lever that turns the tank cannon left or right.
  
  Firing is a button & that is it, no manual reloading or anything.
  
  There is only two tanks in the game, American & German tanks (I think).
  
  Also I hate the idea of using a website (discord) to find other players. That means you need to leave the website open all day to the Tank VR channel to get matches set up.
  
  So basically the game is online only to play at the moment. I do not know if the developer will add bots or anything. I had bad luck with finding other players. My 31 minutes of this game has been sitting & waiting for other players. The game is cool & neat just wasn't enough players to keep me interested. Tanks VR gets 3\/10 for me, it got so boring due to waiting for other players.
